This section of Tibet is stretches across virgin forests. Open grasslands in the north are home to yaks, livestock, and nomads. This region makes up around half of Tibet. Travel Tips:
Above all, we respectfully ask all visitors to Tibet to remember that, despite its extraordinary remoteness and isolation from the world’s most powerful mountain ranges, Tibet is still one of the most fascinating and underdeveloped regions of the world. Although it has only been a tourist destination for around 8 years, the facilities are still quite basic and small in scope. Therefore, it is asked that visitors not have excessive expectations about Tibet’s facilities. Nonetheless, we’ll always work hard to ensure that your trip is as enjoyable as possible.

In addition, the route connecting Tibet and Nepal is subpar. It has many twists and is uneven and rocky. In particular, landslides and erosion can cause temporary obstructions during the monsoon season (June to August). Therefore, it is highly recommended that passengers wear somewhat athletic clothing and footwear to help them navigate landslides (especially in the Nepal half).

Overcoming Altitude Problem:
Trekking in Tibet may be an exciting and physically demanding experience due to the high altitude. The majority of visitors still only experience minimal affects from the altitude. Nonetheless, we particularly advise guests who have a history of blood, lung, or heart conditions to speak with their physician before departing. A mild headache, fever, nausea, or loss of appetite may occur prior to acclimatization.

After that, there will be no reimbursement for no-shows, delayed arrivals, or other causes.

We will always work hard to ensure that your trip is enjoyable and uneventful. However, as the Tibet Tourism Authority rigorously oversees all Tibet trips, neither our agent nor we are liable for any airline changes or cancellations, delayed arrivals, illness, or accidents. Any additional expenses resulting from it will be covered by the clients. Thus, having complete insurance coverage against medical expenses and personal accident risk is highly recommended for clients. It’s also best to get cancelation insurance from your native country.

Climate And Clothing:
Temperature extremes are possible due to the high altitude of the Tibetan Plateau F° C (80°); temperatures have been observed to drop by 17 in a single day. That being said, the weather in Tibet is not as severe as many people think. Days are sunny and warm.
